Duración de los cursos de formación . Se establecen los siguientes tiempos mínimos de duración

El personal del Nivel Ejecutivo de la Policía Nacional del cuerpo de vigilancia urbana, rural y de Policía Judicial, por incorporación directa, dieciocho (18) meses de acuerdo con la reglamentación que expida la Dirección General de la Policía Nacional.

Nivelación académica de agentes, un (1) año.

Personal del Nivel Ejecutivo de la Policía Nacional del cuerpo administrativo, seis (6) meses.

Personal de auxiliares bachilleres que presten servicio militar obligatorio en la Policía, nueve (9) meses.
