Contratación de la prestación del servicio público educativo. En esta modalidad, la entidad territorial certificada contrata la prestación del servicio público educativo por un año lectivo para determinado número de alumnos. La contratación de la prestación del servicio podrá efectuarse con contratistas que sean propietarios de los establecimientos educativos en los que se presta el servicio o con contratistas que, sin ser propietarios de los establecimientos educativos, cuentan con un PEI o PEC aprobado por la respectiva secretaría de educación.
