Las investigaciones económicas encomendadas por el artículo anterior aparecerán en un libro que la Dirección general publicara anualmente con el titulo de Estadística general de la República de Colombia, y servirá de apéndice á la memoria ó informe que debe presentar al Congreso el Ministro de Hacienda y Tesoro. Cada cinco años se publicaré un anuario estadístico de la República, en que aparecerán reunidos los datos más importantes coleccionados en el quinquenio.
