Simultáneamente con las operaciones de deslinde, el ingeniero catastral, Jefe de los trabajos procederá a la designación de los nombres de los principales detalles topográficos de cada Municipio, y si hubiere desacuerdo lo hará constar así en sus informes para que las entidades respectivas den la solución al ratificar definitivamente los límites. Las Asambleas Departamentales quedan obligadas a dar aviso a los Ministerios de Gobierno y de Hacienda y Crédito Público, cuando den nombres nuevos a los Municipios de su Jurisdicción.
