El odontólogo no debe intervenir, en un tratamiento ya iniciado sin previa comprobación de que el paciente ha informado de la sustitución al anterior odontólogo o de que el colega que estaba haciendo el tratamiento ha renunciado a continuarlos o se encuentra en imposibilidad de hacerlo.
