Corresponde a la Junta de Limpia del Dique de Cartagena dragar en la bahía de dicho puerto los pasos peligrosos, a fin de que quede fondo suficiente para la fácil y segura entrada y salida de las embarcaciones que hacen el tráfico fluvial y costanero.

Parágrafo

Para los efectos de lo dispuesto en el presente artículo, puede el Gobierno suministrar a la Junta de Limpia del Dique una de las dragas que prestan servicio en el rio Magdalena.

Los gastos necesarios los hará la Junta de los fondos que recibe en virtud de la Ley 30 de 1915 .
