ARTÍCULO QUINTO. Investigación en Seguridad. Entiéndase por investigación en seguridad privada, todas las indagaciones y averiguaciones de carácter privado); las investigaciones administrativas que se desarrollen a partir de la necesidad de un ente público o privado, para prevenir el fraude o cualquier otro riesgo que atente contra los intereses patrimoniales de cualquier entidad; y la debida diligencia para prevenir delitos de lavado de activos, enriquecimiento ilícito, incremento patrimonial injustificado, entre otras conductas punibles relacionadas con cualquier figura o certificación pública o privada que así lo requiera.
