La condecoración Medalla del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad en el grado de "servicios distinguidos" consistirá en un sol radiante plateado, cuyo centro ostenta el escudo de armas del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad, esmaltado al fuego y pendiente de una cinta de fondo azul celeste y blanco. En la mitad de la cinta llevará una franja vertical con el color amarillo.
