El Ministerio de Salud o la entidad en quien éste delegue, podrán solicitar a los propietarios de cualquier fuente fija artificial de contaminación del aire, que instale y opere en forma directa o a través de terceros, equipos de medición de las emisiones, y que envíe los resultados a la entidad correspondiente, para su análisis, dentro del término que para cada caso señala la autoridad sanitaria competente.
