Art. 17. Los títulos de adjudicación definitiva de terrenos baldíos hecha ya á cambio de títulos cambio de títulos ó ya á cultivadores ó colonos, deben registrarse ó inscribirse inmediatamente en el Ministerio de Obras Públicas, para que tengan valor legal en lo sucesivo. este registro debe hacerse dentro de los dos años contados desde la promulgación de esta Ley.

Con el objeto de evitar dificultades para este registro, la inscripción se hará ante los Tesoreros municipales de los respectivos Distritos de la ubicación de los terrenos adjudicados.
