Las disposiciones de la Ley 83 de 1946 , respecto del Promotor-Curador de Menores y del Decreto 1818 de 1964 referentes al Asistente Legal, se entienden estatuídas para el Defensor de Menores del presente estatuto.

Deróganse los artículos 83 y 84 de la Ley 83 de 1946 .
