La Nación se asocia a la celebración del primer cincuentenario de la fundación y funcionamiento continuo del Colegio de San Luis, de Yarumal ( Antioquia), que se efectuara en 1949; reconoce los servicios que este meritorio plantel ha rendido en favor de la cultura y del progreso nacionales y honra la memoria de sus fundadores y sostenedores.
