En los departamentos se integrarán Comisiones Regionales para la Coordinación y Seguimiento de los Procesos Electorales, conformadas por el Gobernador o su delegado, quien la presidirá, el Procurador Departamental o quien haga sus veces, el delegado del Defensor del Pueblo, el delegado del Registrador Nacional del Estado Civil y el Comandante Departamental de Policía. El Secretario de Gobierno Departamental, será el Secretario de la Comisión.
