El presente decreto tiene por objeto reglamentar el Programa Nacional de Casas para la Dignidad de las Mujeres como mecanismo de coordinación de la respuesta institucional integral, interinstitucional municipal y departamental, que garantice a las mujeres el acceso a programas, proyectos, servicios, acciones y medidas de la política pública dirigidas a la promoción de derechos de las mujeres en sus diversidades.
