Las zonas francas podrán ser industriales, comerciales o combinar estas dos modalidades. De igual manera, podrán especializarse en determinado comercio o industria y, en tal caso, en la ley por medio de la cual se establezca la respectiva entidad, se señalarán las condiciones dentro de las cuales se desarrollará su objeto.
