La sustracción total o parcial de un área integrante del Sistema de Parques Nacionales Naturales, cuando ello se justifique por consideraciones de orden ecológico, requerirá la expedición de un acuerdo por parte de la junta directiva del Instituto Nacional de los Recursos Naturales Renovables y del Ambiente (INDERENA) siguiendo el mismo procedimiento establecido en el artículo 6 de este decreto.
