Registro especial de prestadores de servicios de salud. Es la base de datos del Ministerio de Salud y las entidades departamentales y distritales de salud, en el cual se efectúa el registro de los prestadores de servicios de salud y los definidos como tales que se encuentran habilitados. De conformidad con lo señalado por el artículo 56 de la Ley 715 de 2001, las entidades departamentales y distritales de salud realizarán el proceso de inscripción en el Registro Especial de Prestadores de Servicios de Salud.
