Durante ese día todos las instituciones y establecimientos educativos públicos y privados del país, así como los Institutos o Secretarías de Cultura del orden municipal, distrital, departamental y nacional, realizarán actividades lúdicas a través de las cuales se fomente y estimule la actividad poética y se destaque a los poetas nacionales que con su trayectoria, y aporte han dejado un invaluable legado a la cultura de nuestro país, tanto para la generaciones presentes como futuras.
