El Superintendente de Industria y Comercio, por medio de resoluciones motivadas, fijara las tarifas por las publicaciones en la Gaceta de Propiedad Industrial y por venta de las mismas, y las provenientes de otros servicios prestados por la Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, tales como los de control industrial de calidad, pesas, medidas y metrología.
