° En los lugares de la República en donde circule legalmente moneda de plata, la contribución de timbre se cobrará en papel sellado y estampillas, cuyo valor está señalado en oro; y á fin de que los contribuyentes puedan proveerse de las especies, queda establecido que cada centavo en oro equivale á dos y medio centavos plata.
