Los deberes religiosos, con excepción de los actos hechos en comunidad, son de voluntaria observancia. Los condenados que no pertenezcan a la religión católica permanecerán en sus celdas, o en sus dormitorios, mediante el tiempo de las funciones religiosas, y pueden solicitar, cuando sea posible, la asistencia de los ministros de la religión a que pertenecen.
