Para efectos presupuestales el Consejo Nacional Electoral será Unidad Ejecutora Especial cuya programación y seguimiento presupuestal deberá reportarse al Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público - Dirección General del Presupuesto Público Nacional, de acuerdo con los procedimientos y metodología previamente definidos. El Gobierno Nacional, antes del 31 de julio del presente año, emitirá el decreto con los ajustes correspondientes para cumplir sus objetivos.
