°. Control del contingente. La DIAN será la responsable de llevar el control del contingente y para ello adoptará las medidas que le permitan verificar que las mercancías que se importen se encuentren amparadas en un Certificado de Asignación de Cuota vigente, que las cantidades anuales libres de arancel no superen dicho Contingente y que si lo superan, se aplique el arancel correspondiente de conformidad con el acuerdo.
