º. A partir del 1º de enero de 1997 la asignación básica mensual de los empleados públicos del Instituto de Seguros Sociales Empresa Industrial y Comercial del Estado, se reajustará en un ocho por ciento (8%).

Parágrafo

Efectuado el reajuste salarial ordenado en el presente artículo, el Presidente del. lnstituto de Seguros Sociales enviará al Departamento Administrativo de la Función Pública, copia actualizada de la escala salarial aplicable a los empleados públicos de ese Instituto para el año de 1997.
