Artículo decimoprimero. Los Gobernadores de los Departamentos no refrendarán los diplomas, ni el Ministerio de Salud Pública autorizará el ejercicio profesional, a quienes no acrediten la prestación del servicio rural, en cualquiera de las formas que fija el artículo 5° de la Ley.

Parágrafo

Para acreditar la prestación del servicio rural se requiere certificación sobre residencia del profesional durante doce meses en las localidades previstas para dicho servicio, y sobre el cabal cumplimiento de sus responsabilidades y funciones, expedida por el Jefe del Servicio Seccional de Salud del respectivo Departamento.
