Para los efectos de la pesca de perlas, divídanse los mares de la Republica, en cuatro zonas así: de los límites con Venezuela, al cabo de San Juan de Guías: del cabo del San Juan de Guías a la frontera con Panamá: el Archipiélago de San Andrés y Providencias y el Océano Pacifico.

Parágrafo

Queda el Gobierno autorizado para subdividir las zonas en los sectores que crean conveniente el mejor control y vigilancia de la pesca de perlas.
