º Todas las oficinas públicas que por su índole son o pueden ser depositarias de datos de interés general, están obligadas a establecer un servicio de estadística de manera que éste pueda satisfacer los pedidos que se hagan por la Dirección General o por las Subalternas del ramo, en la forma y tiempo que ellas estimen conveniente.
