Definiciones. Para todos los efectos legales se entenderá por

Costa nacional : Una zona de dos (2) kilómetros de ancho paralela a la línea de la más alta marea.

2.

Playa marítima : Zona de material no consolidado que se extiende hacia tierra desde la línea de Ya más baja marea hasta el lugar donde se presenta un marcado cambio en el material, forma fisiográfica o hasta donde se inicie la línea de vegetación permanente, usualmente límite efectivo de las olas de temporal.

Bajamar : La máxima depresión de las aguas o altura mínima.

4.

Terrenos de bajamar: Los que se encuentran cubiertos por la máxima marea y quedan descubiertos cuando esta baja.

5.

Acantilado : El área localizada en la zona de costa adyacente al mar, desprovista de vegetación y con pendientes fluctuantes entre los 45º y 90º con altura variable.
