A los que se batieren en duelo con intervención de padrinos que arreglen las condiciones del desafío, se les impondrá:

1° Arresto de uno a seis meses si no resultare lesión alguna.

2° Arresto de dos meses a dos años cuando se infieren lesiones personales; y

3° Prisión de uno a cinco años en caso de muerte.
