En los procesos en los que se investiguen violaciones a los derechos humanos e infracciones al derecho internacional humanitario, se dará especial protección a los testigos, víctimas e intervinientes en los procesos penal y funcionarios judiciales, cuando la seguridad de los mismos así lo aconseje.

Parágrafo

Los organismos competentes deberán acoger las solicitudes de protección que presenten en forma conjunta la Defensoría del Pueblo y la Consejería Presidencial para los Derechos Humanos.
