Art. 8° Autorízase asimismo al Gobierno para que disponga lo que estime justo y conveniente, á fin de atender al pago de los créditos reconocidos y no cubiertos, correspondientes á la vigencia económica de 1° de Septiembre de 1885 á 31 de Diciembre de 1886, que no sean presentados en los remates como deuda nueva, de acuerdo con el artículo 3° de la ley 56 de 1887 .
