Los candidatos a la Presidencia de la República y a las distintas Corporaciones de elección popular se inscribirán a más tardar veinte (20) días comunes antes de la fecha de las correspondientes elecciones. En caso de muerte, renuncia a la candidatura o pérdida de los derechos políticos de alguno o algunos candidatos, podrán modificarse las listas por la mayoría de los que las inscribieron a más tardar diez días comunes antes de la fecha de las votaciones. La declaratoria de elección de candidatos se hará de acuerdo con las listas inscritas o modificadas definitivamente, según lo establecido en esta disposición.
