El artículo 153 de la Constitución quedará así:

ARTÍCULO 153.

Para ser Juez Superior, de Circuito, de Menores o Juez Especializado, o Juez de Instrucción Criminal, de igual o superior categoría a los indicados, se requiere ser colombiano de nacimiento, ciudadano en ejercicio, ser abogado titulado y haber desempeñado un año, por lo menos, el cargo de Juez de Circuito o de juez Municipal. Los Jueces de que trata este Artículo serán elegidos por el Tribunal Superior del respectivo Distrito Judicial, en Sala Plena, para un período de dos años.
