De las instituciones de origen canónico. Para efectos del presente Capítulo, son instituciones de origen canónico dedicadas a salud. Las fundaciones o instituciones de utilidad común y las asociaciones o corporaciones sin ánimo de lucro, a las cuales las autoridades eclesiásticas competentes les hayan otorgado y otorguen personería jurídica y que se rigen en su organización y funcionamiento por el Derecho Canónico. (Artículo 15 del Decreto 1088 de 1991)
