Para ascender al grado de Capitán o su equivalente en la Armada, se requiere, además de las condiciones establecidas en el presente Estatuto, hacer y aprobar el curso básico de capacitación respectivo.

Los Oficiales Técnicos de la Fuerza Aérea, deberán aprobar el curso básico de capacitación profesional.
