Las licencias para la prestación del servicio de radioaficionados asignarán a cada operador un distintivo de llamada formado por el prefijo HJ para las licencias de Segunda Categoría; HK para la Primera y Avanzada, seguido por su número dígito para designar la zona de operación; además tres letras para las dos primeras categorías y dos letras para la Categoría Avanzada, asignadas por el Ministerio de Comunicaciones.
