El Personero que sin justa causa no se notifique oportunamente o no conteste el traslado dentro de los términos legales será suspendido del cargo hasta por dos (2) meses, la primera vez, y destituido, la segunda, sin perjuicio de la responsabilidad penal consiguiente. Estas sanciones serán impuestas por la Procuraduría General de la Nación.
