Los certificados sobre intereses y corrección monetaria en virtud de préstamos para adquisición de vivienda, y los certificados donde consten los pagos de salud y educación que sirvan para computar la retención aplicable, deberán presentarse al agente retenedor antes de que se efectúe el pago cuando se trate del procedimiento número 1, o se calcule el porcentaje fijo de retención cuando se trate del procedimiento número 2.
