° El Municipio de Popayán tendrá derecho a que la Nación le reintegre, a medida que las vaya cubriendo, todas las cuotas que haya entregado o entregue en lo sucesivo al Banco Central Hipotecario, siempre que ellas sean imputables al saldo existente a cargo del Municipio el día 31 de diciembre de 1939. Tendrá igualmente derecho el Municipio al reintegro, en la misma forma, de los gastos que haga por concepto de las referidas deudas. Las sumas que la Nación debe reintegrar al Municipio de Popayán, de conformidad con el presente artículo, se tomarán de las partidas que se apropien en los Presupuestos para tal objeto.
