Mientras no se hagan nuevos contratos, podrán subsistir los actuales en las mismas condiciones que hoy existen. Para tal efecto, los actuales contratistas deberán dirigir por escrito la respectiva solicitud de prórroga al Director de las minas. Es entendido que en estos casos, la Nación se subrogará en todos los derechos y obligaciones que aquellos tienen respecto al contratista administrador.
