Los funcionarios escalafonados que a la fecha de publicación del presente Decreto se hallen ejerciendo cualquiera de los cargos que se suprimen en el artículo 1º, tendrán derecho al pago de la indemnización de que trata el artículo 8º de la Ley 27 del 23 de diciembre de 1992 y el Decreto reglamentario 1223 del 28 de junio de 1993, siempre y cuando se cumpla con los presupuestos legales para tal efecto.
