Todas las salas de exhibición cinematográfica que funcionen en el territorio nacional deberán registrarse y clasificarse ante la Dirección General de Comunicación Social del Ministerio de Comunicaciones. El Ministerio de Comunicaciones clasificará las salas de exhibición cinematográfica, teniendo en cuenta si la explotación de las mismas es comercial o sin ánimo de lucro.
