La demanda para que se mejore la hipoteca, o se reponga la prenda o se declare extinguido el plazo de una obligación, se mandará notificar al demandado, con prevención de que si dentro de seis días no mejora la hipoteca, o no repone la prenda, o no da otra seguridad competente, según la ley, se declarará extinguido el plazo de la operación.
