Imposición de sanciones correccionales . El Consejo de Estado, sus Salas o secciones o cualquiera de sus miembros tienen facultad para sancionar correccionalmente, previa averiguación que garantice el derecho de defensa, con multa hasta de diez mil pesos ($10.000.00) o arresto hasta de diez (10) días, a quienes desobedezcan sus órdenes o falten al respeto a la corporación o a cualquiera de sus miembros en el desempeño de sus funciones oficiales o como consecuencia de su ejercicio.
