Una vez el Presidente de la República elabore la terna, dará a conocer a la opinión pública a través de medios de amplia circulación los nombres de quienes la(s) integran y, posteriormente, por intermedio del Secretario Jurídico de la Presidencia, la(s) presentará al Senado de la República dentro del término legal que corresponda.
