La presente ley tiene por objeto establecer la Cuota de Fomento del Coco y crear el Fondo de Fomento a la Coco Cultura, con el fin de garantizar el desarrollo sostenible del sector del coco en Colombia, mejorar su competitividad y productividad, promover y apoyar la investigación e innovación tecnológica, así como el desarrollo de capacidades en el sector y emprendedores en esta industria.
