Art. 11. El adjudicatario ó cesionario de minas que, pasados cinco años desde la fecha de la adjudicación, no hubiere establecido trabajos formales de explotación, perderá el derecho adquirido aun cuando pague el respectivo impuesto.

Igual pena sufrirá el adjudicatario ó cesionario que, después de establecidos los trabajos dichos, los suspenda por más de un año, salve fuerza mayor ó caso fortuito.
