El que abandonare o expusiere un niño recién nacido; no inscrito todavía en los registros del estado civil, estará sujeto a prisión de una a tres años. Si tal cosa se hiciere para salvar el honor propio o el de su madre, mujer, descendiente, hija adoptiva o hermana, la sanción se reducirá a la mitad.
