Suspensión del tránsito. De conformidad con el artículo 120 del Código Electoral, el día de elecciones durante las horas de votación, se suspende el tránsito de personas de la Cabecera Municipal a los Corregimientos, Inspecciones de Policía y sectores Rurales, o viceversa, en donde existan mesas de votación; así mismo, el tránsito entre dichos corregimientos, inspecciones y sectores rurales del Municipio donde ha de efectuarse la elección. La contravención a lo dispuesto en este artículo será sancionada con arresto hasta por noventa (90) días, que impondrá la autoridad civil del respectivo municipio, corregimiento, inspección de policía o sector rural.
