No aceptación de beneficios. Cuando los padres de familia o el acudiente del beneficiario del Apoyo Académico Especial, consideren que con ocasión del estado de salud del estudiante, resulte oportuno suspender o no recibir el Apoyo Académico Especial, en pro de su recuperación o estabilidad, deberá informarlo de manera expresa a la entidad territorial certificada en educación que lo proporciona. En todo caso, el servicio podrá ser reanudado o suministrado, previa solicitud de los padres de familia o acudiente.
